Ecology Science

The branch of science which deals with the study of living beings and shows the relationship among the plants, animals and their environment is called ecology science. All the living beings and non living beings is called environment. There are mainly two methods of studying the ecology science. They are autecology and synecology. The method in which the ecologists follow the single species ahd show how these species are related to their environment is called autecology method. Some ecologists follow the different methods for how the different species are realated to the environment is called synecology. The synecology method is also known as ecosystem approach. For studying the knowledge of natural world these two methods play vital role. From the ecology science we found that the environment is affected by the organisms at a time.Ecology enables us to understand the human activities.Ecology has great importance for the future of the man. Approaches to Ecology:
Botanical approach Zoological approach Biotic approach Habitat approach Ecosystem approach Productive approach. In ecology science, there are two types of ecological factors. They are the physical environment and biotic environment. Physical environment:All the non living things lie in the physical environment. The physical environment consists of temperature, soil, water, etc. Biotic environment:All living beings lie in the biotic environment. Mainly there are two sub division of ecology. They are animal ecology and plant ecology. The animal ecology deals with the study of form, structure and features of animals. The plant ecology deals with the study of form, structure and features of plants. In this way the ecology science explains how the plants, animals and environment are related to each other.
