Histology Science

The branch of science which deals with the study of form, structure, function and features of tissues is called histology science.Simply the tissue is the group of cells having a common origion and performing a special functions. In histology science ,the tissue is divided into two groups. They are simple tissue and compound tissue. Simple tissue:The group of same type of cells performing special function is called simple tissue.Simple tissue consists of epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscular tissue and nervous tissue. Epithelial tissue:The outer and inner surface of the body is covered by epithelial tissue. In this tissue there is absence of intercellular substances. Connective tissue:The tissue which consists of only the structure of bindings. The main function of connective tissue is blood supply. This tissue is connected with all the animal tissue. Muscular tissue:Muscular tissue consists of muscles tissues. The muscle tissue helps for the movement of body parts. There are some physiological characteristics in the muscles tissue.Muscular tissue also consists of contractile elements. Nervous tissue:According to the histology science the connection of nervous tissues are found with the network of the organisms. For the various activities of the organisms the nervous tissue plays vital role.Mainly the nervous tissue is of two types. They are nerve cells and supporting cells. In nervous tissue there are some fundamental as well as structural units called as nerve cells. For the normal metabolism the supporting cells has an great importance. Compuund tissue:The tissue which consists of different layer of cells called compound tissue.Compound tissue cosists of pavement epithelium, columnar epithelium, ciliated epithelium, glandular epithelium, sensory epithelium and germinal epithelium.
